I had a chance to interview Kevin Nash for the wrestling guide WPC helped put together for Creative Loafing. Like so many other wrestlers, Nash got his first big break in Atlanta, while working as a bouncer at the Cheetah. Tonight he hosts his own WrestleMania kickoff party at Sutra Lounge. Here’s a link to the interview, followed by a couple of other questions that didn’t make it into the CL piece.

You had an interesting stare down with the Big Show after being eliminated from the Royal Rumble. Do you think you’ll have another match with him, or anyone else, before you call it a career?
Yeah, I don’t know. I think they planted that seed for a reason, so…
Your good friend Shawn Michaels is being inducted into the Hall of Fame this weekend as well. I would imagine you’d at least be considered for the role of inducting him. Any chance you’ll get to do that?
Triple H is going to be the one. He’s been with the federation for so long and was with Shawn for the last nine years while I was off doing my thing. I’ll definitely be there, but I’d probably get too broken up if I had to do that anyway because he’s pretty special to me and my life. He’s the one that got me to, at that time, the WWF and we’ve stayed close. Every couple of weeks we spend some time together on the phone and talk and this will be a really nice chance to sit down and catch up with Hunter [Hearst Helmsley], Shawn, [Steve] Austin’s going to be there and I haven’t seen Steve in a while. I ran into [the Undertaker] at the Austin airport, but it was for five minutes. So any chance to sit down and spend some time with some old friends is going to be really special for me.
