If this week’s Georgia Wrestling Now has a theme, “on the verge” might be a good way to describe it. Matt “Sex” Sells, a standout at Georgia promotions such as Pro Wrestling Resurrection, Progression Pro Wrestling and NWA Atlanta, looks to make an impression with Ring of Honor as he attends the Best in the World iPPV on June 22, as well as the ROH TV taping the following night. In the second half of our show, Team All You Can Eat’s Matt Hankins and Wrestling with Pop Culture talk to Rampage Pro Wrestling star Drew Adler (co-winner of Most Improved Wrestler in the 2012 Georgia Wrestling Awards) about his role at this weekend’s Summer Super Show, as well as his work at All-Star Wrestling Network, Monstrosity Championship Wrestling and more. Georgia Wrestling History‘s Larry Goodman also joins us for this edition of GWN. Listen live every Monday at 7 p.m. and call 347-324-5735 for questions or comments.

Georgia Wrestling Now welcomes Dab Savage, Johnny Danger and Goldust

Goldust takes on Murder 1 at the UIW Supershow this Saturday.

On this week’s edition of Georgia Wrestling Now, Team All You Can Eat’s Matt Hankins and Wrestling with Pop Culture welcome two of the strangest combatants to ever step into a Georgia wrestling ring. Whether he’s part of the Rock N Roll Models at Pro Wrestling Resurrection, being a fan favorite at Platinum Championship Wrestling or claiming lineage with the great monster hunter Van Helsing in Monstrosity Championship Wrestling, Johnny Danger is really starting to make his dreams a reality in the wrestling world. And speaking of dreams, the last time most of us saw Goldust was when he tried to shatter his brother Cody Rhodes‘ dreams at the Royal Rumble. But The Bizarre One is in local action for the Universal Independent Wrestling Supershow June 15 to take on Murder 1, and he talks about that match and more as this week’s featured guest. We start the show off with TNA Gut Check participant Dab Savage, who lets our listeners know why they should vote for him. Listen live every Monday at 7 p.m. and call 347-324-5735 for questions or comments.

Georgia Wrestling Now welcomes Corey Hollis and Christopher Daniels

With Alabama Attitude, Corey Hollis has become a top tag wrestler at Anarchy Wrestling, Ring of Honor and elsewhere.

At Slammiversary on June 2, Georgia favorite Gunner became a Total Nonstop Action World Tag Team Champion alongside “The Cowboy” James Storm. Gunner is sure to get a hero’s welcome as Impact Wrestling airs live from the  Gwinnett Arena on June 6, but on tonight’s Georgia Wrestling Now we talk to two people who have little reason to be singing Gunner’s praises. First Wrestling with Pop Culture and Team All You Can Eat’s Matt Hankins talk to Pro Wrestling EVO Heavyweight Champion Corey Hollis, who along with his Alabama Attitude tag team partner Mike Posey will be facing Gunner and Steven Walters in the Anarchy Wrestling main event on June 8. Then we talk to “The Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels, a former TNA World Tag Team Champion whose Bad Influence has its sights set on Gunner’s gold. Listen live every Monday at 7 p.m. and call 347-324-5735 for questions or comments.

Georgia Wrestling Now welcomes Professor Morté, Tim E. D and Jeremy Vain

APW's Jeremy Vain challenges Shaun Tempers for the Anarchy Wrestling Championship this Saturday.

From the High Museum of Art to more traditional wrestling venues, it seems that you can find wrestling pretty much anywhere this weekend. On this week’s Georgia Wrestling Now, Team All You Can Eat’s Matt Hankins and Wrestling with Pop Culture talk to two people (well, that term is questionable for one of our guests) who will be involved in some of this weekend’s bigger events. Georgia Wrestling Now welcomes Matt Sells, Jon Malus and Kobald

Things tend to always be at least a little odd in the wrestling world, but sometimes the Georgia wrestling scene gets even wackier than usual. This weekend some of the strangest local and national promotions host events outside the realm of what some wrestling fans are accustomed to seeing. Monstrosity Championship Wrestling returns to Club Famous May 3 and WrestleForce‘s “The Juggernaut” Jon Malus wants to issue a special challenge to a member of the MCW roster. Will he reveal his target to Wrestling with Pop Culture and Team All You Can Eat’s Matt Hankins on tonight’s Georgia Wrestling Now? Chikara also makes its Georgia debut May 4 with The Ghost of You Clings, so we’ll be talking to the Batiri’s Kobald about his grudge match against Amasis this Saturday. GWN regular Matt “Sex” Sells will also let us in on his recent Ring of Honor training seminar, his upcoming stand-up comedy show at the Laughing Skull Lounge and putting his career on the line against former tag team partner Ryan Michaels on May 5 at Pro Wrestling Resurrection. Listen live every Monday at 7 p.m. and call 347-324-5735 for questions or comments.

"The Juggernaut" Jon Malus makes his Monstrosity Championship Wrestling debut May 3 and wrestles for American Premiere Wrestling May 4.
