Georgia Wrestling Now welcomes Jen Holbrook Sells and Rick Michaels

While most people are putting their kids to bed before Santa comes down the chimney to deliver presents, Team All You Can Eat’s Matt Hankins and Wrestling with Pop Culture welcome wrestling veteran Rick Michaels for a very special Christmas Eve edition of Georgia Wrestling Now. This is the final installment in our Rick Michaels trilogy and if you’ve heard the previous two editions (listen to the October episode here and the November episode here) you know that Michaels is never lacking in stories and opinions. And with recent developments in Pro Wrestling Resurrection (where he is still Heavyweight Champion), Southern Wrestling Association, Peachstate Wrestling Alliance (where he is still a Tag Team Champion) and NWA Atlanta (where he recently became a Tag Team Champion), as well as his Christmas night Georgia All-Star Wrestling match against Mark Grason, he’s sure to have some interesting things to talk about. Georgia Wrestling Now remembers Jason Speed and welcomes Mr. Donnie

It has been a sad few days for many people in the Georgia wrestling seen with the passing of Pro Wrestling Resurrection/The New Tradition Pro Wrestling‘s Jason Speed. So this week’s Georgia Wrestling Now is dedicated to Speed, with remembrances by Simon Sermon, “The Lethal Dose” Stryknyn, Matt “Sex” Sells, Matt Von Reaper, Michael Gentry, El Zombie Mascara and Ryan Bonebrake. Sermon also fills in for Team All You Can Eat’s Matt Hankins as we also talk to Mr. Donnie and Brian Alexander “The Great” about the annual Toys for Tots wrestling benefit at Henderson Arena on Dec. 22. But that’s not the only return for a GWN regular as The Jagged Edge calls in to talk about his upcoming return to the ring after being injured at an Anarchy Wrestling event a few months ago. In addition to talking to the former Pro Wrestling Resurrection Heavyweight Champion, Wrestling with Pop Culture also hears from NWA Atlanta Tag Team Champion Andy Anderson about the recent change from NWA Action, the promotion’s status with the National Wrestling Alliance and his upcoming match against Rick Michaels and Bobby Hayes at Saturday Night Rumble IV. While most of us are getting back to the grind after an extended holiday weekend, Georgia Wrestling Now brings you its second installment in a three-part series with Pro Wrestling Resurrection Heavyweight Champion, Peachstate Wrestling Alliance Tag Team Champion and Georgia wrestling veteran Rick Michaels. The world of wrestling is always unpredictable, and this week’s Georgia Wrestling Now is a perfect illustration of that fact. With Monstrosity Championship Wrestling’s event looming this Friday, the Silver Scream SpookShow‘s Professor Morte calls to reveal more macabre details.
